Favourite memory of your uOttawa university experience
The opportunity to take courses in French, enjoy a bilingual academic experience and discover the city of Ottawa. I have fond memories of skating at Winterlude on the Rideau Canal.
Participation in student government, Clubs or Sports
I entered the program in my second year of Cegep, so I missed the first year of integration. The first year of your university studies is of paramount social importance, so make the most of it! It's the perfect time to invest your time and energy.
Tip for our current students or young alumni
Keep in mind that career paths are often not linear. Stay open to new experiences.
Listen to your passions, existing or new, whether they be languages, sports, the arts, social involvement or anything else. Use your elective prerequisites to deepen your interests, even if they don't seem to lead to an obvious career. Be confident. Discovering your preferences will open the door to a field you'll enjoy and develop your professional skills - it's the combination of these two elements that will ensure an exciting career tailor-made for the unique individual you are.

Favourite memory of your uOttawa university experience
As a final assignment, the graduating class went abroad to start international partnerships. There were 7 groups, the selected destination was Peru, and the courses taught us practical and relevant processes in order to close those partnerships.
The groups met with stakeholders and business owners as each individual assigned themselves to specific tasks within the group (I assigned myself to stakeholder engagement). I met the stakeholders and explained how collaborating with us as Canadians can be influential to their business. Furthermore, I let them know that I have experience in directing the development and implementation of key initiatives to drive organizational success and achievement; as well as maintaining a reputation for excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
Also, I had undertaken a business consulting project where I was responsible for preparing a scope of work for socio-economic research, in order to help the organization improve its processes and be further engaged within different communities. I have been able to not only determine the scope but also provide recommendations on how the scope can be addressed in a feasible manner.
Our hard work paid off as a partnership was derived and my group received the highest grade in the entire class.
